My Best Friend

It was a cold winter night, the wind blowing hard, the sky dark, and the sun gone from the sky. I was at work, outside doing my job, when I looked up and a snow flake fell on my lips. The snow began to fall more heavily and the wind stopped. I know then and there that he was gone. My Buddy, My Companion, My Guardian Angel, My Best Friend was gone. But was he?! Was this his way of saying, "Goodbye, I'll see you soon?" I smiled at the thought but then I felt a gust of wind engulf me. This wind was different though it was warm somehow and I could fell happiness and wonder and love but then it was gone. Soon after I got a phone call from home. My mom on the line sobbing out the words: "Honey he's gone." I smiled saying: "No, mom, he's right here with me, Forever.

This story is dedicated to everyone that have lost someone very dear to them. You will be greatly missed and your memory will be cherished forever. He will always be with you, Never Forget. God Bless.
